About the Arts Coterie Project Journal

The Arts Coterie Project Journal is the publishing side of Arts Coterie Project.

It is where we can go a little deeper.

The main ACP site is the home of our artists, projects, releases and creative worlds. The Journal gives us room for the stories around them: release notes, behind-the-scenes process, ideas, experiments, works in progress, artist perspectives, discoveries, essays and the occasional strange thing that simply deserves somewhere to live.

Posts may range from practical updates and personal reflections to notes from Progressive Hook Records, individual artist worlds, and the occasional piece that wanders considerably farther off the path

The Journal is also where ideas such as SoundCloud First, creative transparency, human-led generative collaboration and the evolving ways we make and release work can be explored in more detail.

Arts Coterie Project works across music, visual art, writing, wellness, story and experimentation. The different projects do not all need to sound alike, look alike or speak with the same voice.

That is rather the point.
